The CYY-W660 is a large-screen, wireless pre-furnace molten iron temperature measurement device—an essential tool for large-scale cast iron foundries. In these facilities, controlling molten iron temperature is critical to ensuring casting quality. The CYY-W660 enables real-time temperature monitoring at the furnace, ensuring the molten iron reaches optimal conditions before pouring into molds.

For iron foundries, the CYY-W660 can be used to measure molten iron temperature at the furnace or before pouring. A typical process may include: Melting → Temperature Check → Process Adjustment → Pouring Preparation → Casting. On-site temperature measurement enables workers to know the actual temperature of the molten iron at the time of testing.

The key difference of the CYY-W660 from standard handheld thermometers is that readings aren't limited to the operator's display. Measured temperatures are wirelessly transmitted to the CYY-W660 monitor, positioned conveniently for operators or supervisors to view. Its large 5-inch screen features characters approximately 120-128mm tall, ensuring clear readability in factory environments.

No signal cables needed between the gun and display: In large wired monitor systems, signal cables between the gun and screen can be inconvenient in production environments. The CYY-W660 uses wireless data transmission between the handheld device and the display, with a stated range of up to 300m. For factories with wide furnace areas, multiple measurement points, or significant distances between the furnace and observation stations, the wireless design enables more flexible system setup.

The CYY-W660 measures molten iron temperature at: cupola furnaces, induction furnaces, medium-frequency furnaces, ladles, and pre-pouring areas. It is ideal for gray iron foundries, ductile iron foundries, and other iron casting facilities.

The device features robust electromagnetic interference resistance, enabling accurate measurement of molten iron temperature even while the medium-frequency induction furnace is powered on—without needing to shut down the furnace. This is a significant advantage for foundries using electric induction furnaces.

The CYY-W660 can store over 1.000 groups of historical temperature data, supports querying saved data, and allows printer selection and computer connectivity. In iron casting workshops, the temperature data can be used to verify measurement results, monitor the melting process, compare temperatures between batches, and manage workers' measurement operations.
