CYY-W600 Large-Screen Liquid Iron Temperature Gauge for Pre-Furnace Monitoring

The CYY-W600 is a high-temperature liquid iron thermometer with a large display, designed for pre-tapping measurement in cupola furnaces. It is an essential tool for large-scale gray iron foundries. In these facilities, precise control of molten iron temperature is critical to ensuring casting quality. The CYY-W600 enables real-time temperature monitoring directly at the furnace, guaranteeing that molten iron reaches optimal pouring conditions before mold filling.

For iron foundries, the CYY-W600 can be used to measure molten iron temperature at the furnace or before pouring. A typical process may include: Melting → Temperature Check → Process Adjustment → Pouring Preparation → Casting. On-site temperature measurement enables workers to know the actual temperature of the molten iron at the time of testing.

The CYY-W600 uses a thermocouple as the temperature sensor and can automatically determine the stable temperature value during measurement. Its large LED display clearly shows molten iron temperature in foundry environments, allowing operators to easily read results from a distance.

The device is wall-mounted and connects via cable to a laser distance meter with a range of 25m. Per the installation guide, the display can be positioned up to 10m from the measurement point in direct line of sight, at a height of approximately 2-4m. This setup creates a clear temperature display area in the foundry: Furnace → Measurement Zone → Large Temperature Display.

Workers, technicians, or production supervisors can monitor molten iron temperature readings from a safe distance. This is a significant advantage over handheld meters, making it ideal for foundries with multiple furnace operators and shift-based production.

The device features robust electromagnetic interference resistance, enabling accurate measurement of molten iron temperature even while the medium-frequency induction furnace is powered on—without needing to shut down the furnace.
